5. How to install and use your hyperbaric oxygen chambers?
We will send you the installation and user manuals for our hyperbaric chambers. Our hyperbaric chambers are easy to install and use. Generally, you only need to connect the chamber to the oxygen generator by using some tubes or cables, and complete a few settings then you can enjoy the HBOT. If you have any questions, we can provide remote guidance.
In certain countries or regions, we can provide on-site installation, but the customer is responsible for covering the round-trip travel expenses and installation fees.
6. What is your warranty and what should I do for the maintenance?
Our hyperbaric oxygen chambers come with a 2-year warranty. If any issues arise with the product during the warranty period, we will guide customers through troubleshooting, and if necessary, we will send replacement parts free of charge.
Our hyperbaric oxygen chambers also do not require any special maintenance. You only need to periodically wash or replace the filter of the oxygen generator. Be sure to keep the interior of the chamber clean and avoid overloading the chamber during daily use.
7. What certificates do you have for your hyperbaric oxygen chambers?
We have a range of certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FSC, CE, EMC, LVD, MDR, etc. Please let us know which certifications you need, as requirements vary by country.
8. Can you custom the chamber for me or help me print my LOGO?
We can print logos and offer custom colors. If you’d like to customize the size, interior decoration, or accessories of the hyperbaric chamber, we’ll typically need to evaluate your request before determining whether it’s possible.
What is a hyperbaric oxygen chamber?
Hyperbaric oxygen chamber, also called hyperbaric chamber, hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber (HBOT chamber), hyperbaric capsule, hyperbaric cabin, hyperbaric machine (HBOT machine), etc. In general, it is a sealed chamber in which the pressure typically reaches 1.3 ATA or higher. Furthermore, the concentration of oxygen inhaled by a person inside the chamber is generally greater than 90%. By inhaling high-concentration oxygen in a high-pressure chamber, a person can improve their health or treat medical conditions.
How does a hyperbaric oxygen chamber work?
The mechanism of hyperbaric oxygen therapy primarily involves three aspects:
1. Mechanical effect—shrinking bubbles within the body
According to Boyle’s Law, the volume of a gas is inversely proportional to absolute pressure. When ambient pressure increases, the volume of gas within gas-filled cavities in organs or of bubbles released from tissue fluids (such as in decompression sickness or iatrogenic air embolism) decreases. Under hyperbaric oxygen conditions, the partial pressure of oxygen in the blood increases, and the partial pressure of oxygen outside the bubbles is higher than that inside them. Oxygen displaces nitrogen—the primary gas component within the bubbles—allowing the oxygen inside the bubbles to be utilized by the tissues, thereby accelerating the resolution of the bubbles. In gas gangrene, free gas in the interstitial spaces—which causes increased tissue pressure—shrinks in volume under hyperbaric oxygen conditions, thereby reducing tissue pressure, improving blood circulation, and consequently alleviating pain.
2. Increasing Oxygen Partial Pressure and Blood Oxygen Content
According to the simplified alveolar gas equation, when pure oxygen is inhaled under high pressure, the partial pressure of oxygen in the alveolar gas is several times higher than when breathing air at atmospheric pressure. As the pressure inside the hyperbaric oxygen chamber increases, the partial pressure of oxygen in the alveolar gas rises accordingly, and the amount of oxygen dissolved in plasma increases proportionally. Since the blood oxygen content increases significantly, this boosts tissue oxygen reserves. Furthermore, the elevated partial pressure of oxygen increases the effective diffusion distance of oxygen within the tissues.
3. Promotes Vasoconstriction
A substantial increase in the partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood exerts a direct vasoconstrictive effect on blood vessels. Vasoconstriction helps prevent the formation of tissue edema and promotes the resolution of existing edema.
Overall, inhaling pure oxygen in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber can increase blood oxygen levels and the partial pressure of oxygen in the body, promote blood circulation, accelerate metabolism, and facilitate tissue regeneration.
What are the benefits of a hyperbaric oxygen chamber?
Hyperbaric oxygen chambers have many benefits as follows:
1. Hyperbaric oxygen chambers can be used to treat conditions caused by oxygen deprivation, such as carbon monoxide poisoning and altitude sickness.
2. Hyperbaric oxygen chambers can serve as an adjunctive treatment for a variety of conditions, including decompression sickness, stroke, fibromyalgia, arthritis, neuropathy, and multiple sclerosis, etc. Hyperbaric oxygen chambers can even be used as an adjunctive treatment for certain cancers.
3. Hyperbaric oxygen chambers are not only used to treat medical conditions but also for general wellness. For example, they can reduce chronic fatigue, aid in rapid post-exercise recovery, enhance skin health, and improve various suboptimal health conditions. They can also improve mental well-being, alleviate depression and anxiety, and promote better sleep. According to relevant studies, consistent use of hyperbaric oxygen chambers may even help extend lifespan.
Types of hyperbaric oxygen chamber
Based on the materials used in their construction, hyperbaric oxygen chambers can be classified into soft shell and hard shell chambers. The chamber bodies of soft shell hyperbaric oxygen chambers are typically made of TPU, while those of hard shell chambers are generally made of metal materials, such as steel or aluminum alloy.
Based on design style, hyperbaric oxygen chambers can be classified into lying (horizontal) and sitting models. Sitting hyperbaric oxygen chambers are generally equipped with a sofa.
Based on usage scenarios, hyperbaric oxygen chambers can be classified into home-use chambers, commercial chambers, and medical chambers. The treatment pressure of medical hyperbaric oxygen chambers generally reaches 3.0 ATA or higher.
Based on the number of users, hyperbaric oxygen chambers can be classified into single-person chambers, two-person chambers, and multi-place chambers.
What is the difference between soft hyperbaric oxygen chamber and hard hyperbaric oxygen chamber?
First, the materials of the soft hyperbaric chambers and hard hyperbaric chambers are different. Soft hyperbaric chambers are typically made of TPU, while hard chambers are generally made of metal materials, such as steel or aluminum alloy, so hard hyperbaric chambers weigh significantly more than soft chambers. In terms of quality, hard hyperbaric chambers are also relatively better.
Second is price. Soft shell hyperbaric chambers are more suitable for home and personal use because they are less expensive. Hard shell hyperbaric chambers, on the other hand, are more expensive and are primarily used in commercial scenarios.
In terms of user experience, hard shell hyperbaric chambers offer a better experience because they provide more space and are equipped with air conditioning and even televisions. As a result, they provide a higher level of comfort.
How to choose the right hyperbaric oxygen chamber?
If you plan to use it at home, or have a limited budget, or have limited space at your place, you can consider purchasing a soft shell hyperbaric oxygen chamber. For commercial use, you can purchase a hard shell hyperbaric oxygen chamber. If you require a high-professional unit for hospital use, you can purchase a medical-grade hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
